The Big South will hold its men's basketball tournament this week. All nine teams from the conference will head to the Freedom Hall Civic Center in Johnson City, Tennessee in hopes of being named the Big South conference tournament champion.

For the second season in a row, the High Point Panthers are the No. 1 seed, aiming for their first ever NCAA trip at the Division I level. This time, however, they won’t have the opportunity to squander the advantage of playing in their own arena.
