Catholic Charities Fort Worth on March 3 filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on grounds that the office unlawfully withheld grant funds for the charity’s refugee services.

When the Trump administration suspended the U.S. Refugee Admission Program, the action effectively froze all federal funding for refugee resettlement groups.

Catholic Charities alleges its has not been paid since the Trump Administration moved to freeze​ to federal funding, but later rescinded the order.
