Clive Revill, the actor who originally voiced Emperor Palpatine in "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back," has died. He was 94.

The veteran actor, recognized for voicing “The Empire Strikes Back” sequel, died at a care facility in Sherman Oaks, Calif., after a battle with dementia.

Clive Revill's acting career spanned decades from 1955-2016 and he appeared in around 200 onscreen roles. Revill was also known for his appearances in Star Wars, Transformers, and Batman.
