Game publisher Electronic Arts (EA) dipped 9% in Wednesday's after market trading after it cut full-year forecast for net bookings, hurt by the underperformance of EA SPORTS FC 25 and Dragon Age games.

As of writing, shares of EA are trading for $115.80. Ahead of the announcement, the stock was changing hands at $142.35.

Meanwhile, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, launched on October 31, 2024, has seen approximately 1.5 million players engage with the game across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms. Despite breaking EA records for concurrent player numbers on Steam, the game fell far short of the company’s expectations, which had been closer to doubling that figure.

EA has revealed that two of its flagship titles, namely Dragon Age: The Veilguard and EA Sports FC 25, underperformed last quarter.
