First Alert, Memorial Day and WEEKEND PLANNER
Digest more
Rain chances continue Sunday night as a weak wave of low pressure develops and tracks eastward along the front, increasing the risk of widespread light to moderate rainfall into early Monday morning.
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - An upper level disturbance is moving away to the northeast, allowing for a dry airmass to move in over the islands. Breezy trade winds will gradually weaken in the coming week. Overall, expect most dry conditions and mostly sunny weather ahead.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - We’ve made it to the end of the week with the unofficial kickoff to summer just about upon us. Your Memorial Day Weekend looks really cool compared to normal and we have some late weekend showers and storms to track.
Memorial Day will not be a complete washout, as rain will start the day out, then we will see more clouds than sun on Monday. As we head later in the day, another round of showers could end the day, as they could become numerous at times.
We'll have a wetter than normal trade wind pattern for the next couple of days, with more of the showers on the windward and mauka sections, but some of the showers will spread leeward at times.
