The Air India flight fell from the sky on Thursday and killed at least 270 people in Gujarat state, officials said Saturday.

Viswash Kumar Ramesh was one of 242 people on the 787-8 Dreamliner that went down shortly after takeoff in Ahmedabad, India. Somehow, he walked away.

Both of the "black boxes" were recovered from the wreckage of the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner in India after after all but one of the 242 people onboard died.

The multi-faith service on Saturday was held at the Siddhashram Shakti Centre in Harrow, north-west London, where Mayor of Harrow Anjana Patel said 20 of the victims had previously worshipped. She also shared that two young girls had lost their father in the crash, just weeks after their mother had died from cancer.

Ahead of Saturday's festivities, King Charles III also honored a handful of celebrities and public figures, including David Beckham, Gary Oldman and Elaine Paige.
