Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill making Florida the second state to remove fluoride from the drinking water in May.

An effort to remove it in Hillsborough County recently failed. In Manatee County, commissioners have drafted a motion to remove fluoride from the drinking water, but a vote is still pending.

Officials from Pinellas County Utilities said they will stop adding fluoride to drinking water by July 2025.
