The Mariners continued their torrid stretch with their second consecutive series sweep, this time against the Rays.

Cal Raleigh belted his 45th home run of the season as part of a four-run first inning and the Mariners held on to beat the Rays and earn their second straight sweep.

Julio Rodríguez followed with a single and Josh Naylor worked a walk. Houser moved them up 90 feet with a balk. Suárez scored both runners with a single up the middle to make it 4-0. But the Mariners failed to add another run off Houser in the inning.
