According to a report from transfer journalist Nicolò Schira, RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško has reached an agreement Newcastle United on personal terms. The two clubs, however, would need to come to accord on a transfer fee:

Newcastle are “bracing” themselves for a formal offer for Isak from Liverpool, the Daily Mail claims. The club are described as “split” about what the best approach should be if and when this bid lands; stick to their guns and rebuff all offers or open themselves up to negotiations.

The Reds have already snapped-up Hugo Ekitike, for whom Newcastle made Eintracht Frankfurt an unsuccessful £70million offer before ending their pursuit of the Frenchman. However, they reportedly are interested in several other strikers as they continue trying to strengthen their squad after qualifying for the Champions League.

In a recent post on X, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano mentioned that Liverpool remain keen on signing Newcastle United centre-forward Alexander Isak. It has been revealed that the Reds are still showing interest in the Swedish striker and could move in for him if they sell Luis Diaz this summer.
