Rusev made his long-awaited return to WWE during Monday Night Raw after a fiver-year stint at AEW. Fans were stunned by the unexpected mid-match return during a tag-team clash between Otis and Akira Tozawa and The New Day.

Rusev left WWE all the way back in 2020 and spent the following years doing fantastic work in AEW as Miro. He recently became a free agent when he was released in February and word was WWE was interested in a reunion. Sure enough, he’s back and looking better than ever.
