The Philadelphia 76ers played host to the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday looking to keep moving in the right direction. They were able to pick up a win over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday and were hoping to build off that against a scrappy Blazers team while missing Paul George and Kelly Oubre Jr.

Maxey, who finished with five points on 2-for-13 shooting, took a hard fall after a layup attempt in the third quarter and never returned. Paul George and Kelly Oubre Jr. also missed Monday's game.

Sixers guard Tyrese Maxey, who was already dealing with a finger injury, left the game against Portland midway through the third quarter after appearing to hurt his back during a fall. Maxey got up and went to the locker room after falling and didn't return. He finished with five points and six assists in 23 minutes in the loss.
