Florida baseball was unable to bounce back after dropping the weekend finale to Miami and suffered an even uglier loss at the hands of the UCF Knights

Lex Boedicker had four hits, Edian Espinal drove in four runs and Dominic Castellano and Alex Galvan combined to toss 6⅔ scoreless innings in relief as the Knights cruised to a 13-3 win over Florida at John Euliano Park. The Gators (11-2) entered the night ranked No. 6 in Baseball America's Top 25, and No. 7 in the D1Baseball.com poll.

Coming off a 13-7 loss to Miami on Sunday, the No. 7 Florida Gators struggled once again in falling 13-3 on the road against UCF on Tuesday night. The Knights (9-3) took control early and never looked back to hand the Gators their second consecutive defeat in convincing fashion.

After dropping its first game of the 2025 season, the Florida baseball team is looking to get back in the win column on the road against UCF.
