Zendaya’s involvement in “Be My Baby” goes beyond her time in front of the camera. The “Dune: Part Two” fixture also had a hand in the hot rights sale along with Marc Platt and Adam Siegel.

According to Variety, Ronnie Spector selected Zendaya to play her in Be My Baby. The singer was also set to be an executive producer of the film before passing away in 2022 (via Deadline).
