Jun 28, 2020 · If I'm not mistaken, the whole POINT of Bonzi Buddy was to be a vehicle for malware. I'd recommend running it in a sandbox environment if you really need to experience it for yourself, but more than that I'd recommend just watching videos on it instead of giving them another download.

Nov 2, 2021 · It is still able to give you adware I'm pretty sure, but ever since bonzi software was deleted it can't give you viruses like it used to. But you have to download it on Windows XP or earlier. (Even though it isn't as harmful anymore I suggest you get some sort of VPN, antivirus, or just be as careful as you can. Download at your own risk!)

Aug 25, 2021 · BonziBuddy as of 2021 is safe. Since the servers that served ads and sent information to Bonzi Software have been down for over a decade, it is completely harmless. However, back in the day, it was adware and spyware. No matter where you download BonziBuddy from today, it is fine to install, despite what any antivirus may say.

There's a buncha versions hosted all over the internet nowadays which are generally considered to be benign because the servers run by the original developers of Bonzi no longer exist, which means there's no way for it to steal your data because there's nowhere for your data to go.

Jan 30, 2011 · Many years ago a client of mine asked me to reinstall the Bonzi Buddy that I had removed from his computer. I explained to him that it was a piece of malware that shouldn't be on his PC. He told me that he knew, but that his wife wouldn't stop nagging him about how I killed her little purple friend. Bonzi Buddy was brilliant.
