Rarely fished it on a summer weekend cause of the crowds, Great weekdays after work. or early spring or fall There is a shallow mud and stump shoal to the left of the ramp cove that keeps water skiers out but if you know where the old creek channel runs you can get to some fishable water on weekends.

Jun 27, 2017 · payaker, Crooked Creek is 20+ ' over normal right now, prob won't be even able to get on it this week.You need to keep checking the resivoire reports to plan a trip there or call the office. Anything over 850' they shut the ramp road & the road to the beach. sam

May 21, 2010 · Crooked Creek Stream - Armstrong County Between Apollo and Indiana, PA (near Shelocta) runs Routh 56. Along Rt 56 is a little village of South Bend where the creek makes a big bend and crosses underneath Rt 56 in 2 places.

Aug 9, 2010 · I looked at the Navionics link for the maps, but it appears that neither Crooked Creek or Arthur are included.....are you guys sure that Arthur is included? It is definitely on the GPS chip - Navionics Hot Maps Premium '09 - East. It is pretty accurate too. Shoot Navionics a message. They usually respond within a week.

Apr 29, 2009 · crooked creek lake I just talked to the ranger about lowering the water to its normal level which is 845' or lower, this makes easier shore access for shore fishermen & also eliminates the poss. of fish laying thier eggs only to have the water drop & losing a year class of crappie.

RE: Crooked Creek 2010/04/24 20:15:45 I was there yesterday also caught a few small crappies, couple of bass, and a carp. The crappie are as active as I thought they'd be.

The PFBC has announced that portions of Crooked Creek Happy Valley Road Access have been reopened to the public following a temporary closure. Areas that have been reopened include the parking lot and access to Crooked Creek located on the Northeast corner of the PFBC property .

I do not know if you are aloud or not but the lake is fairly small and fluctuates alot so any ice would be subject to cracking and bowing in up and down flows.
