Jun 28, 2020 · If I'm not mistaken, the whole POINT of Bonzi Buddy was to be a vehicle for malware. I'd recommend running it in a sandbox environment if you really need to experience it for yourself, but more than that I'd recommend just watching videos on it instead of giving them another download.

However, back in the day, it was adware and spyware. No matter where you download BonziBuddy from today, it is fine to install, despite what any antivirus may say.

I explained to him that it was a piece of malware that shouldn't be on his PC. He told me that he knew, but that his wife wouldn't stop nagging him about how I killed her little purple friend. Bonzi Buddy was brilliant.

When bonzi buddy became a meme in 2013 and these later were revealed to have existed, they were big in demand. Since so few were ever sold, though, their base value was pretty high.
