[2] She has been an Olympic and World champion, has been ranked #1 in the World, has been the #1 American pole vaulter since 2006, and has won a total of 17 US National Championships (7 Indoor, 10 Outdoor).

Jul 10, 2022 · Jenn Suhr, a 2004 graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College, announced her retirement from competitive track and field after an 18-year career in the sport. She won the 2012 Olympic gold medal, is a 17-time U.S. national champion and current world record holder in the indoor pole vault.

On August 18 in Beijing, with two other Russian competitors hot on her heels, Stuczynski Suhr made the jump of her life for a medal, coming through with a 15-9 effort to earn the silver medal with her rival Isinbayeva claiming the gold and the Olympic dream became a reality.
