Next, click the launcher button in the bottom right corner of the Page Setup group on the Page Layout tab. Jan 19, 2012 · What you're asking to do cannot be done. Templates are designed based on a specific paper size. You can choose a different paper size to print on but there is nothing that will scale the content accordingly...

The Templates and Add-Ins dialog box from earlier versions of Word is still available, but it has been well hidden. The easiest method to open the dialog box is by clicking the Document Template button on the Developer tab, but first you may have to display the Developer tab (which you can do via File | Options | Customize Ribbon).

Word Template won't print I started writing a book using the Write Non-Fiction template and I can't get the document to print now. I can copy all my text into a new Word document and it will print, I can save the new document, but leave it open, and it will still print.

It sounds like your book template was poorly designed, and the index would have to be created by hand. Ditch the table altogether and use Word's Index fields (you'll need to create XE fields for the indexed words).
