Oct 10, 2023 · You can drive the highway without a reservation. Reservation is for parking at the top, and I would imagine they're not hard to get right now. There is a lot you can park at close to the top and a shuttle to take you the last half mile or so. The only thing is I'm not sure if the shuttle is running now that it's past peak season.
