Nov 27, 2023 · May I ask what is the difference between the TSMC ADR (NYSE: TSM ) and the actual stock listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange ( TPE: 2330 )? Below is a Bloomberg COMP screen. The difference in returns is 33.90% for the last 10 years. You don't see such a substantial difference for other ADRs. You can see the line diverges from time to time.

Sep 11, 2023 · The only reason nvidia probably be dual sourcing is because tsmc CoWoS capacity is fully utilised. They literally dual sourced last generation for Ampere. Samsung 8nm for the gaming chips, the more efficient and dense TSMC 7nm for data center cards. What Apple specifically? I literally just described what about Apple specifically.

No. If I go full on in TSMC then I have a chance to loose it all. This is true for any company, and not just TSMC, however, TSMC has higher probability at the moment. An average investor should never invest heavily in one particular stock anyway. With that being said, i bought TSMC back when it was low two digits and still holding!
